Detail of a carved stone dome with intersecting lines and small circles of stainless steel inserted into the surface. Part of the sculpture First Conundrum, by the artist Remco de Fouw, that sits in Festival Square Edinburgh. The entire multiple work is based on geometrically refined, neolithic Scottish stone spheres.
