sun silvered sway

runnels snake through silt

***

Sun-silvered silt and sway. Water runnels snake through an increasingly silted up Charlestown harbour. An intense overhead sun reflects from the harbour surface and accents the slow meander of water. A number of swaying tall thin grasses are sun-silvered in the foreground.

absent footfalls — leave

a space to fill

beyond memories

***

Window opening from an old stone-built cottage. Abandoned for so long that mature trees and other vegetation have grown in the interior. A solitary red brick sits on the window sill. A number of grasses, lichens and flowerings plants are growing along the roofless top.
