Low tide on the Firth of Forth which can be seen in the distance between layers of shoreline, the coast of West Lothian and the sky. Runnels of water pattern through the foreshore mudflats. An ominous dark mass hovers above a dotted layer of small clouds and brighter sky, yet the accumulating clot leaches all natural colour from the day. (Not a B&W pic).
