collapsing certainties

a moment

when world collapses its certainties

and asks:

what is a cloud?

what is a rock?

where is the sea?

where is the sky?

Shallow coastal inlet with very still water reflecting the sky above. An array of dark rocks sit partially above the surface of the water which gives the appearance of being subsumed within a blanket of solid white cloud. A wedge of bright blue sky angles in from the right hand side. In the foreground, the water is shallower, revealing the surface of the beach below the tidal flow.
